Rainlendar lite reviews pro#
However, since the Pro version is available in an unlimited trial, you might want to download that on the website, where there is a version for Linux as well. According to the developer’s website, the biggest difference is that the Lite version does not support other calendars, such as Google, Outlook and so on. There is also a Pro version of Rainlendar. Rainlendar Lite has also been translated to most languages, including Danish, which means you can use it in your native language. There are a couple of themes to choose from in the settings, but you can download new ones online. One of the best things about Rainlendar Lite is that it is highly customizable. You can easily add new events and tasks with all kinds of information, such as place, start and end time, alarm with sound, priority and website. It comes with many features, but overall, it works as both a calendar and a reminder application. There is also a version for Windows 64-bit and Mac.Īt this page, you can find our review of Rainlendar Lite, which is a free calendar application for Windows and Mac.

The negative of this, though, is that the last time I checked, the Rainlendar Help didn't cover this "anomaly" clearly enough for a typical user (or maybe just me).Rainlendar Lite for Windows is a free, highly customizable calendar application.

(So if you're into skinning, then you can go crazy with Rainlendar.) The only negative thing I have to say about it at all is that since the author lives in Finland, which is one of the places in the world that follows the ISO 8601 standard for week dates, the numbering is usually wrong based on a "standard" US calendar but this is easy to adjust in the options, or you can just turn them off if you don't need them.
Rainlendar lite reviews skin#
I like the default skin except for the large "Today" circle that obliterates the double-digit dates, but no problem-I just created my own rectangular border and replaced the default one with mine. Rainlendar is easy to read and blends well with the desktop. I wanted a small calendar to put on the desktop above the system tray that's easy to navigate.
